Note: “Issa Exposed” is a project of the Courage Campaign that tracks Darrell Issa’s public record as well as the ongoing investigations and hearings he’s involved with as the new chairman of the House Oversight Committee.
It’s supposed to be vacation still for Darrell Issa, but he isn’t having a great week. The New York Times noticed his consistent effort to transfer taxdollars to the super-rich and specifically himself, so not only is Issa stuck playing defense, it puts a damper on his attempts to criticize the President for mixing governing and campaigning. But if there’s one thing Issa still knows how to do, it’s argue against cleaner, safer, and cheaper cars. So that’s exactly what he’s doing.
