It probably comes as no surprise that the two most powerful words topping America’s “I can’t say that” list are Sex and Death. As in, “Poor old Henry was in the middle of sleeping with this gorgeous woman when he had a heart attack and suddenly, he was pushing up daisies.” The solution? Adopt hundreds of euphemisms to avoid using the actual words.
