John Archer, a Republican Congressional candidate in the newly formed 2nd Congressional District, is displaying a hefty list of supporters on the invitation to his Christmas Open House, which also features presidential candidate Rick Santorum.
Archer’s “host committee” list reads like a who’s who list of Republican activists in the district. While Congressional politics has taken a back seat in Iowa over the past year due to the caucuses, Archer has put in a major effort to make himself known to activists across the district. By the looks of things his hard work has paid off. If Archer wins the Republican nomination, he will face off against Congressman Dave Loebsack.
